AgileEngine, LLC. in Szczecin, Poland is seeking a Python Backend Developer to build and extend the backend of an internal developer portal and dashboard, leveraging AI coding tools in daily development.

You will design robust Python backends using FastAPI/Django/Flask, integrate diverse databases, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable features while embracing an Agile/Scrum workflow and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend development in Python.
• Experience with AI coding assistants in daily workflows.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Linux/Unix command-line proficiency.
• Experience with Snowflake, PostgreSQL/MySQL, or MongoDB.
• RESTful API design and integration.

Responsibilities

• Continue the development and extension of the internal developer portal and dashboard.
• Design, build, and maintain a robust custom Python backend to support core application features.
• Leverage AI coding tools to streamline implementation, refactoring, and test generation.
• Integrate the application with diverse database environments, specifically Snowflake, relational (SQL), and non-relational (NoSQL) databases.
• Manage version control and CI/CD pipelines (Git) to maintain automated testing and smooth deployment workflows.
• Interact with and navigate Linux/Unix environments on a user level to run development builds, execute scripts, and inspect logs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate user requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, peer code reviews, and performance optimization.
