Job summary

Software Mind is developing a global, native Android experience for a security and travel risk services leader. You will join a mobile team building Kotlin-based apps with Jetpack Compose, focusing on fast, secure and accessible interfaces.

You’ll collaborate on requirements, implement location-aware features and push notifications, and contribute to CI/CD, testing and documentation in an international setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience developing native Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Experience implementing location services and push notifications.
• Experience with OAuth 2.0/OIDC, session management and secure credential storage.
• Experience integrating third-party libraries.
• Hands-on experience writing and maintaining unit and UI tests.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Scrum practices.
• Proficiency in Jira and Confluence.
• Strong attention to detail, communication and problem-solving skills.
• English at C1 – working language with the client.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the native Android app using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Collaborate on requirements, technical solutions and effort estimates.
• Build responsive, accessible and multilingual interfaces.
• Optimise app performance, stability and scalability.
• Implement secure authentication, session management and data storage.
• Develop location-based features and location-triggered push notifications.
• Resolve production issues through crash analysis, root cause investigation and hotfixes.
• Integrate app monitoring and analytics.
• Maintain unit and UI tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Follow architecture and coding standards, participate in code reviews and maintain documentation.
