SoftServe is seeking a Release Manager to support large-scale enterprise systems for grants and workflow management in a European public-sector setting. You will coordinate end-to-end software releases, align multiple technical and business teams, manage risks, and ensure auditable, stable deployments.

Responsibilities include release planning, governance, integration with CI/CD, and post-release support, with a focus on quality, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Competenze

• 12+ years of IT experience or 17+ years with secondary education access to higher education
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and DevSecOps delivery models
• Experience with version control systems like Git, SVN, or Mercurial
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of build tools including Maven, Gradle, or Ant
• Experience with configuration management and IaC tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Terraform
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with release orchestration tools such as XL Deploy, Harness, or Spinnaker
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Scripting skills with Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, ELK Stack, Prometheus, or Grafana
• Strong understanding of release governance, CAB processes, go/no-go criteria, rollback strategies, and post-release support
• Knowledge of incident and problem management integration
• Strong stakeholder management, coordination, conflict resolution, and communication skills
• English or French proficiency at B2 level or higher
• Holding ITIL 4 Foundation or Agile delivery methodology certification such as SAFe

Requirements

• University degree corresponding to EQF Level 6 with 12+ years of IT experience, or secondary education giving access to higher education with 17+ years of IT experience
