Job summary

Aon sp. z o.o. in Kraków is seeking a Reinsurance Business Analyst to maintain and enhance the DXC SICS application, supporting reinsurance and insurance claims management, with responsibilities across configuration, issue resolution, and collaborating with business users.

You will work with underwriting, actuarial, and finance teams, review processes, test upgrades, document requirements, and drive improvements while ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• At least four years of experience in reinsurance operations.
• Excellent understanding of reinsurance concepts, processes, terminology, treaties, contracts, claims, and underwriting/claims activities.
• Experience with policy administration systems, GL integrations, and SICS or similar software; SICS or Assure knowledge is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with SICS would be an advantage.
• French language proficiency would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and configuring reinsurance software applications, documenting new requirements, and defining solutions.
• Reviewing, analyzing, and resolving SICS-related issues, including assisting users with complex contract analysis and data capture.
• Testing system upgrades, logging defects, and managing them through to resolution.
• Recommending process improvements and system enhancements while ensuring regulatory compliance and company policies.
• Collaborating with underwriting, actuarial, and finance teams and providing SICS process training to users and new team members

What the day will look like

As a Reinsurance Business Analyst, you will maintain and enhance the DXC SICS application supporting reinsurance and insurance claims management. You will configure the application, resolve issues, and collaborate with business users to support seamless operations and data integrity.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting and configuring reinsurance software applications, documenting new requirements, and defining solutions.
• Reviewing, analysing, and resolving SICS-related issues, including assisting users with complex contract analysis and data capture.
• Testing system upgrades, logging defects, and managing them through to resolution.
• Recommending process improvements and system enhancements while supporting compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Working with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, actuarial, and finance, and providing SICS process training and guidance to users and new team members

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• At least four years of experience in reinsurance operations
• English language proficiency - minimum C1 on CEFR scale.
• Excellent understanding of reinsurance concepts, processes, terminology, treaties, contracts, claims processes, and key underwriting, claims, and accounting activities.
• Experience with policy administration system implementations, GL integrations, business change, and the configuration of SICS or similar reinsurance software. SICS or Assure knowledge is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organisational, and stakeholder-management skills, with excellent attention to detail and communication abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, insurance, risk management, or a related field. Professional insurance or reinsurance certification is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with SICS software would be an advantage.
• French language proficiency would be an advantage.
