Job summary

Persán seeks a Regulatory Senior Specialist to ensure product compliance across detergent products, safeguarding consumer safety and supporting sustainable growth.

You will apply REACH, CLP, and Detergents Regulation knowledge in a fast-paced multinational setting, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to maintain up-to-date dossiers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years in a similar regulatory position within the household product industry.
• Fluent English communication (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Verify product regulatory compliance with legal and customer requirements in detergents.
• Classify chemical mixtures and develop safety data sheets and ingredient data sheets.
• Submit Poison Centres Notifications (PCN).
• Maintain and update product dossiers.
• Monitor changes in chemical regulatory acts affecting control of mixtures.
• Assess raw materials' compliance with regulations and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams in the supply chain.
• Support laboratory testing plans.
• Coordinate additional product certifications (e.g., EU Ecolabel).
• Liaise with external institutions and participate in audits.
• Represent the company in audits and regulatory reviews.

Regulatory Senior Specialist

Mission

To ensure full compliance of products with applicable legal requirements and industry standards, safeguarding consumer safety, minimizing legal risks, and supporting the company’s sustainable growth.

Main Responsabilities

• Verification of product regulatory compliance with legal and customer requirements in the area of detergent products,
• Classification of chemical mixtures and development of safety data sheets, ingredient data sheets, etc.
• Poison Centres Notification (PCN) submissions.
• Mantaining and updating product dossiers.
• Ongoing monitoring of legal acts regarding the control and management of chemical mixtures.
• Assessment of raw material´s compliance with legal and customer requirements.
• Communication within the supply chain (e.g., with raw materials suppliers).
• Support in laboratory testing plans.
• Additional products certification, e.g., EU Ecolabel.
• Contact with external institutions (State Sanitary Inspection, Oddice for Registration of Medicinal products, Medical devices and Biocidal Products, Polish Centre for Testing and Cerfification).
• Cooperation with internal and external clients.
• Representing the company and actively participating in audits.

Minimum Requierements

Academic Background

Bachelor´s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field such as Biotechnology.

Language Skills:

English, with fluent written and verbal communication skills.

Technical Skills:

• Demostrated Knowledge and application of key regulations, including REACH, CLP, and the Detergents Regulation.
• Minimun of two years in similar regulatory position within the household product industry.
• Project management.
• Office automation tools- Excel, Access, Power BI, etc.
• Familiarity with software for creating SDSs and classifying mixtures will be considered an additional asset.

Good communication skills, leadership, ability to work in teams, ability to work under pressure, strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements effectively, highly organized, self-taught, and detail-oriented, with a natural curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Experience in managing a small team will be an additional advantage.
