Job summary

EXANTE Limited seeks a mid-level Regulatory Reporting Officer to join the Regulatory Reporting team within Business Operations. The role covers EMIR, MiFIR, LTR, and position reporting across EU/UK entities, ensuring output is complete, accurate, and delivered on time.

You will own reporting pipelines, validate outputs, handle TR/ARM interactions, and support client reporting while translating regulatory requirements into system changes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in regulatory reporting, operations, or data-heavy roles.
• Strong understanding of brokers and financial markets, instruments, and trade lifecycle.
• Comfort with data, large datasets, and tracing discrepancies to root causes.
• Experience with EMIR and/or MiFIR reporting in production is a plus.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into system changes and test fixes.
• Familiarity with RTS/ITS and ESMA/FCA validation rules and reportable fields.
• Knowledge of ISO 20022 report schemas (auth.030/auth.016) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and control of reporting pipelines, defining build specs and overseeing scripts to ensure complete, accurate, on-time outputs.
• Investigate and clear validation errors and rejections from TRs/ARMs and venues, driving root-cause resolution.
• Ensure end-to-end report quality: field accuracy, completeness, and timeliness per RTS/ITS guidance.
• Run delegated reporting for clients and act as their reporting contact.
• Support clients by answering queries and providing data explanations.
• Translate regulatory requirements into development tickets and verify fixes in reports.
• Assist audits, health-checks, and regulator queries with sample checks and explanations.
• Keep procedures and controls up to date with regulatory changes.
