Job summary

Goldman Sachs in Warsaw seeks a Regulatory Affairs professional to support the Chief Compliance Officer in maintaining the Compliance program for GSBE and its European branches. You will help implement MaComp/MaRisk aligned controls and coordinate regulatory interactions from the Warsaw hub.

The role requires a solid understanding of European regulatory frameworks, strong analytical skills, and fluent English. Collaboration with multiple offices and reporting to governance forums is expected.

Qualifications

• University degree; first professional compliance/ financial services experience desirable.
• Basic knowledge of European regulatory environment (e.g. ESMA GL, EBA GL, MaComp, MaRisk).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; written and verbal.
• Fluent in English and highly organized; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Conduct key Compliance controls in line with BaFin requirements (MaComp, MaRisk) and other selective regulatory frameworks.
• Participate in firmwide working groups / implement new global standards to uplift RCC Compliance programme.
• Assist in identification and implementation of new controls to mitigate Compliance risks.
• Assist in harmonising controls across multiple offices and expand scope to cover offices with no physical presence.
• Support Annual Compliance Risk Assessment and Annual Compliance report.
