Job description

Responsibilities

• Design and develop services and applications in a high-level operating system environment, such as Linux, Android and RTOS (QNX) to integrate and configure audio processing solutions in the vehicle infotainment systems according to gathered requirements.
• Evaluate different solutions and choose the most proper one which meets requirements and fits the architecture.
• Build and verify automotive platform with hypervisor and guest OSes.
• Test and verify software specifications have been implemented correctly in accordance with the development plan.
• Document and update APIs for integration both internally and externally.

Must have

• 5+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• C/C++ programming (compiler, linker, memory, CRT, etc.).
• Experience with RTOS and embedded operating systems.
• Hands-on experience in designing end-to-end solutions (from the Android application to the Host OS).
• Experience in development for QNX OS.
• Hypervisor knowledge, build, configuration, guest VMs, esp. QNX Hypervisor, VirtIO.
• Android experience, AOSP platform configuration, build systems.
• Hands-on experience with any of the Inter-VM communication framework.
• Proficiency in one of the Audio Software Systems: AudioReach, QNX Sound.
• Solid communication skills in a global development team environment.
• Fluent English.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of embedded/automotive Linux systems, including device drivers, kernels, build system, especially audio related drivers/ALSA etc.
• Knowledge of Linux shell and Python scripting.
• SoC SW development environment, including repo, compiling, debugging, logging, etc.
• Knowledge of Qualcomm automotive SoCs and toolchain.
• Knowledge of communication protocols, e.g., UART, SPI, I2S, I2C.
• Expertise in managing DSPs in a real-time environment.
