About the Position:

We are looking for a Regional OES/AM EMEA BUYER to join the Purchasing Lighting team, reporting directly to the EMEA Purchasing Direct OES/AM Materials Manager.

This position is based at our office in Sosnowiec.

As the Regional OES/AM EMEA BUYER at Marelli, you will be responsible

Your Responsibilities will be:

• Leading, developing, monitoring, and maintaining active cost cutting global programs to achieve the defined Purchasing KPI for the assigned commodity.
• Prepare and participate on the productivity program budgeted with his/her suppliers.
• Work closely with commodity specialist to define and develop the commodity strategy to support Division Business plan by identifying trends and anticipate potential gaps in the Supplier Panel.
• Participate on VAVE reviews. Active Support on VAVE implementation. Active participation on VAVE workshops to support purchasing initiatives.
• Resolve supplier performance issues in a fair and ethical manner with Marelli interests being a priority.

What Qualifications you will bring:

• Minimum experience of 2 years in purchasing (eventually sales).
• Experience in Automotive and/or industrial components will be preferable.
• Ability to learn new things.
• Team Player.

Other skills that we would welcome:

• Engineering or Economics degree with technical skills.
• Metallic and Wire Harness experience is welcome.
• Target oriented.
• Commercial and Technical Negotiation Skills.
• Analytical Skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Office package.
• Open to travel (maximum 20% of time).
