Overview

Role: Red Hat OpenShift Specialist – SME

Experience: 8–15+ years

Location: Kraków (Hybrid) (2 days Office/3 days Remote)

We are looking for an experienced Red Hat OpenShift SME to design, deploy, and manage enterprise Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in OpenShift 4.x, cluster administration, automation, security, and performance engineering across hybrid or multi-cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, and upgrade OpenShift clusters (on-prem & cloud).
• Build automation using Ansible, GitOps (ArgoCD), Helm, Tekton/Jenkins.
• Implement cluster security (RBAC, SCCs, policies, secrets).
• Configure monitoring & logging (Prometheus, Grafana, EFK).
• Troubleshoot cluster, networking, storage, and performance issues.
• Act as SME for architecture, best practices, and stakeholder guidance.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in OpenShift/Kubernetes, RHEL, networking, and storage.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP deployments (ROSA/ARO preferred).
• Knowledge of Operators, Service Mesh, CI/CD pipelines, container registries.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Certifications

• Red Hat Certified Specialist (EX280)
• RHCA, CKA, CKAD (plus)
