Luxoft is seeking a Real‑Time Developer to lead the Windows runtime and integration workstream for a hardware‑assisted security platform in Gdańsk. You will drive low‑latency data pipelines, kernel‑space to user‑space communication, and SDK layers used by security software partners.

The role demands 4+ years in systems programming (C/C++), deep knowledge of Windows kernel concepts, and experience with real‑time, high‑throughput software.

Qualifications

• Experience developing Windows kernel‑mode drivers or closely related low‑level Windows components.
• 4+ years of professional systems programming in C/C++; Rust is a plus with strong low‑level background.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows kernel programming and driver‑to‑user communication.
• Experience building real‑time / low‑latency software and high‑throughput pipelines.
• Knowledge of shared memory, ring buffers, lock‑free queues, async I/O, or multi‑threaded pipelines.
• Strong understanding of concurrency, memory management, and performance‑sensitive design.
• Solid debugging, profiling, and maintainability practices for kernel and user space.
• Proven ability to document architecture, interfaces, and integration procedures.
• On‑site work in Gdańsk; university degree in CS or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high‑throughput, low‑latency data pipelines from Windows kernel to user space ML runtime.
• Develop reliable kernel‑to‑user communication mechanisms and SDK/API layer.
• Integrate ML runtimes like ONNX Runtime or OpenVINO in real‑time inference flow.
• Ensure per‑process / per‑thread telemetry attribution and robust error handling.
• Profile, optimise throughput, latency, memory usage, and CPU overhead.
• Create unit, integration, regression, load, and stress tests for the runtime stack.
• Collaborate with hardware validation and ML teams; support multiple Windows platforms.
