Job summary

Alstom in Katowice is seeking an Interlocking System Designer to join a diverse, team-oriented group. You will analyze customer and product requirements to define standardized IXL architectures and configurations for tenders, prototyping, and field deployment.

Responsibilities include drafting design descriptions, user case scenarios, test specifications, and implementing software components with GitLab on Linux. Collaboration and documentation are key for project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field or currently pursuing studies in Railway Traffic Control, Automation Engineering, Mathematics.
• Fluent Polish (required) and English at least B2.
• Experience with software development or testing projects.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze customer and product requirements to define standardized IXL architectures.
• Prepare design descriptions, user case descriptions, operational scenarios, SLATE tests specifications.
• Implement sternol code (using GitLab) and test in GNU/Linux environments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including test scenarios and specifications.
