Job summary

ALSTOM Gruppe in Katowice seeks a Senior IXL System Designer to identify and analyze customer and product requirements, defining standardized IXL architectures and configurations for tenders, prototyping, and deployment.

The role involves designing, coding in GitLab, and testing safety and functionality in a Linux-based environment, with a focus on rail signaling systems and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development and/or testing projects.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Railway Traffic Control, Automation Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• Knowledge of railway signaling and traffic control systems; practical experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design descriptions and implementation concepts for solutions.
• Implement sternol code using GitLab for version control.
• Test solutions (safety and functionality) using GNU/Linux, EQSIM, and EQSIM_E.
