Job summary

Alstom in Chorzów seeks an experienced FEA Engineer to support the design and validation of railway products. You will perform Finite Element Analysis and structural calculations, translate results into practical engineering solutions, and work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project quality and delivery.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree and 3+ years of FEA experience, with proficiency in ANSYS, HyperMesh or NASTRAN, and a strong analytical mindset.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in FEA, ideally in rail or similar engineering environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in mechanical structures.
• Good English communication, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead FEA and structural calculation activities across projects from planning to validation and delivery of technical documentation.
• Apply calculation methodologies and simulation tools to produce reliable analyses for project requirements.
• Translate results into engineering recommendations for design improvements or simplifications.
• Prepare validation plans and calculation reviews, documenting results and tracking actions.
• Monitor progress, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and customers, flag risks impacting quality, cost, and delivery.
