Job summary

AstraZeneca in Warsaw offers a Business Support Specialist role within the R&D Central Business Support Team. You will serve as a primary contact for stakeholders, handling purchase requisitions, PO issues and process improvements in a fast-paced, global environment.

The position requires strong English language skills, reliability, and proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools. Hybrid work model: 3 days in office, 2 remote per week, with emphasis on data integrity and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Fluent English (min. B2).
• Prior business support or customer service experience.
• Ability to exercise discretion, tact and diplomacy.
• Respond to rapidly changing priorities with initiative.
• Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross-level collaboration.
• Team-oriented with ability to work in a global environment.
• Strong working knowledge of IT tools and MS programs.

Responsibilities

• Raise new purchase requisitions and amend existing purchase orders for R&D study leaders.
• Check PR status and provide updates to customers; investigate PO issues for stakeholders.
• Support projects requested by R&D stakeholders and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Proactively identify and implement process improvements to simplify ways of working.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of business operations and customer focus for a specific group.
• Initiate or join projects to improve processes and workflows.
• Share knowledge within the team and promote better data integrity and workflows.
• Participate in training and development programs for specialists.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and quality.
• Promote modern digital tools (SharePoint, MS Teams, MS Forms) for Digital R&D.
• Meet SLAs and KPIs for the R&D Central Business Support Team.
• Ensure activities comply with AZ rules and values.
