IS-Wireless is seeking a research-focused engineer to implement and prototype innovative algorithms for disaggregated RAN, security/Zero Trust, and RRM. You will design xApp/rApp applications using RIC API and E2/R2 interfaces, while deploying AI/ML-driven solutions in cloud-native environments with Kubernetes.

The role offers collaboration on cutting-edge 5G/6G architectures, opportunities to contribute to research and patents, and a chance to contribute to secure, low-latency telecom networks

Qualificações

• Strong Python skills for prototyping and AI/ML tasks.
• Solid understanding of 5G/6G architecture.
• Experience with cloud-native environments and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with security concepts such as Zero Trust, TLS/PKI, IPSec.
• Ability to rapidly prototype and work with 3GPP documentation.
• Proficient English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Implement and prototype innovative algorithms for disaggregated RAN, security/Zero Trust, and RRM.
• Design and implement xApp/rApp applications for the ecosystem using RIC API and E2/R2 interfaces.
• Deploy AI/ML-driven solutions for network optimization (e.g. reinforcement learning, swarm optimization).
• Work with cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes) to deploy and scale network applications.
• Collaborate on research projects that may lead to patent applications (and/or papers).
• Integrate selected security solutions e.g. encryption (TLS/PKI, IPSec), Zero Trust architectures.
