Hitachi ABB Power Grids in Poland is seeking an experienced R&D Project Manager to lead multi-location, cross-functional projects in energy technology. You will drive initiatives from concept through delivery, coordinating engineers, researchers, and external partners to meet cost, schedule, and quality targets.

The role requires a Master’s degree in engineering or related field, 2–5 years in R&D or technical project management, fluency in English, and strong collaboration across international

Your background

• Master’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Project Management or related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in R&D or technical project management within the energy sector or a similar industrial environment.
• Familiarity with transformers and product development is a plus.
• Solid understanding of engineering principles and technologies relevant to the energy sector, enabling effective communication with technical teams.
• Ability to analyze project data, identify trends, and develop data-driven solutions to overcome challenges and optimize performance.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Skilled in project management tools and familiar with gate model.
• PM certification preferable (PMP, Princ2, CAPM).
• Comfortable working in international, cross-cultural teams.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders, fostering a culture of teamwork and open communication.
