Job summary

ABB is seeking an Electrical R&D Engineer to contribute to the design and testing of energy distribution products. You will work on electronics and mechanical design, prototype solutions, and document analyses. The role requires collaboration with international teams and onsite presence reporting to the R&D Team Manager in Przasnysz.

You will design for assembly/manufacturing, drive cost-effective improvements, and communicate in English in a global R&D environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in product or part design.
• Experience with Design for Assembly/Manufacturing in energy markets.
• Analytical mindset with ability to think creatively.
• Proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to technology, software, product, and system development.
• Identify and implement innovative solutions to relevant problems.
• Prepare documentation and present analysis results.
