Aviva plc in Warsaw, Poland is seeking a mixed software development and testing professional to join our Services Excellence Centre. You’ll set up test automation, develop test plans, and maintain data generation while performing manual tests and exploring further automation opportunities.

The role requires a hybrid dev/test skillset, about 2 years of experience, strong C# and CI/CD tooling familiarity, and cloud awareness across AWS/Azure.

Qualifications

• Around 2 years of commercial experience in a similar role.
• Hybrid skillset of software development and testing is mandatory.
• Self-sufficient and able to cross-skill to different technologies.
• ISTQB Fundamentals and Test Automation Engineer certifications are ideal but not mandatory.
• AWS Cloud Practitioner and Azure Fundamentals certifications are ideal but not mandatory.

Responsabilités

• Setting necessary tools (e.g. Azure DevOps) to enable test automation and integration with downstream processes
• Developing and maintaining test plans, test cases, test scripts
• Establishing an efficient way to generate test data with less dependencies to external teams
• Performing manual testing
• Continuously looking for opportunities to automate tests in the pack of manual tests
