Job summary

Brightstar Lottery in Warsaw, Poland is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to design, execute and maintain manual test cases for web and backend applications. You will collaborate with developers, product owners, and other QA engineers to ensure high-quality deliverables and participate in test planning, estimation and reporting.

The role requires hands-on testing experience, strong English communication, and ability to work in a distributed team.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
Solid experience in manual testing with exposure to automation.
Hands-on experience with Postman and REST API testing.
Proficiency with project tracking tools (JIRA).
Strong communication skills in English (B2/C1).
Experience with XRAY.

Responsibilities

Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases for web and backend applications.
Participate in test planning, estimation, and reporting activities.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other QA engineers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.
Contribute to test automation efforts using Robot Framework (added value).
Validate REST APIs using tools like Postman.
Track and report defects using JIRA or similar tools.
Work independently and as part of a distributed team to meet project goals.
