Job summary

Selvita is seeking a Team Leader for the analytical department to oversee analytical processes, set objectives for team members, and ensure adherence to GLP/GMP standards. You will manage daily activities, coordinate procurement, and maintain lab infrastructure, while driving quality and timelines across projects.

The role requires a life sciences degree, 5+ years in pharma, and 1–2 years in team leadership, with strong English and Polish communication, and excellent organizational skills.

Qualifications

• University degree in Life Sciences (Chemistry/Pharmacy/Biotechnology).
• At least 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Preferably 1–2 years in team management.
• Experience with instrumental techniques HPLC, GC, UV/VIS, IR.
• Fluent English (B2) and Polish required.
• High motivation, excellent organizational skills, and strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage, supervise and coordinate the analytical team work.
• Identify operational and investment needs; prepare plans.
• Maintain laboratory infrastructure and equipment functionality.
• Prepare SOPs and operating procedures for team use.
• Plan purchasing for research activities and negotiate terms.
• Collaborate with Logistics on procurement activities.
• Ensure GLP/GMP compliance and health and safety rules.
• Prepare presentations, summaries and project updates.
• Deliver project reports and maintain client communications.
