Hybrid mode of work from Warsaw (3 days/week from the office)
Service Delivery Manager (SDM) manages testing for a large program or cluster of projects. The program may have multiple project testing teams or release wise testing teams or group of components/platforms testing teams. The Test Delivery Manager owns and represents all testing activities within the program, guide and govern test project managers and leads in delivering their outputs, ensuring integration with overall program deliverables. The SDM defines testing priorities and acts as the voice of testing within the program governance board.
Project Delivery
- Test delivery management throughout the program life cycle for deliverables, entry/exit criteria, defines test program structure and build team
- Effort estimation, team sizing, team onboarding. Preparing and managing program test plan for entire duration considering dependencies within program and across the programs and external teams, including different testing cycles.
- Ensure compliance with methodologies, conformance to metrics, reports and usage of tools. Facilitate governance & reviews.
Team Management
- Create synergy among project teams, identify levers to increase efficiencies. Bring best practices from other projects in his organisation or customer organisation.
Customer Relationship Management
- Establish relationship across the CIO/Portfolio organization, business areas and suppliers in order to deliver successful engagement experience to customer
- Lead and support ongoing pursuits to win new business at existing or new clients.
- Owns and drive SLA & KPI dashboards
- Consolidates risks, issues, dependencies, etc. from projects and implement the Risk based testing process if required, for Strategic, Large scale and Multi Year projects.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Experience: 7+ years in QA, software/hardware testing, or service delivery roles
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test automation, and hardware/software integration.
- Service Delivery Skills: Proven experience in managing service delivery for large-scale QA projects, including client management and SLA tracking.
- Leadership & People Management: Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage performance, and drive engagement.
- Project & Financial Management: Experience in project planning, budgeting, and resource management.
- Process Improvement: Track record of driving operational improvements and implementing best practices.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Compliance & Audit: Familiarity with quality audits, compliance frameworks, and regulatory standards.
