Scope of Responsibilities:
1. Contract Quality Preparation
- Development, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) for commercial / industrial construction projects.
- Review and analysis of design documentation (architecture, structure, and building services) with regard to quality, completeness, and technical risks.
- Definition of execution standards, construction details, tolerances, and acceptance criteria.
- Ensuring compliance of technical solutions with contractual requirements, applicable standards (PN/EN), and technical regulations.
2. Quality Supervision of Construction Works
- Ongoing supervision of the quality of general construction and trade-specific works.
- Monitoring compliance of execution with design documentation, QAP, and approved quality standards.
- Conducting audits of construction processes and subcontractors.
3. Materials, Testing, and Commissioning
- Verification and approval of materials, technical data sheets, test reports, certificates, and declarations of conformity.
- Supervision of trials, tests, inspections, and commissioning of installations.
- Ensuring full traceability of materials and equipment.
4. Inspections and Documentation
- Participation in inspections of concealed works, partial handovers, and final acceptances.
- Preparation of complete quality documentation required for acceptance procedures.
- Supervision of as-built and handover documentation, ensuring consistency with actual site conditions.
5. Non-Conformities and Corrective Actions
- Identification, registration, and analysis of quality non-conformities.
- Initiation and supervision of corrective and preventive actions.
- Support of defect rectification processes prior to acceptance and during the warranty period.
6. Coordination and Communication
- Close cooperation with the Construction Manager, Site Managers, and Trade Managers.
- Participation in technical and coordination meetings.
- Reporting quality status and key issues to the Project Director and Project Manager.
7. BIM and Corporate Standards (if applicable)
- Verification of BIM models with regard to clash detection and constructability compliance.
- Supervision of quality standards applicable within the General Contractor’s organization.
Requirements:
- University degree in a technical field (Civil Engineering or related disciplines).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience on construction sites, particularly in commercial or industrial projects.
- Practical knowledge of structural, finishing, and building services works.
- Very good knowledge of Construction Law, Technical Conditions, and applicable PN/EN standards.
- Experience in working with design, acceptance, and as-built documentation.
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (e.g. ISO 9001).
- Very good command of Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel.
- Experience with BIM environments (Revit, Navisworks) – an advantage.
Language and International Requirements
- English – mandatory (must have): fluent written and spoken communication.
- German – highly desirable.
- Experience gained on projects executed in Germany is an asset, particularly on large-scale commercial or industrial construction projects.
