Job summary

Univio is seeking a QA Engineer for Wrocław/Kraków/Remote to drive manual and automated testing in a dynamic project setting. You will develop Playwright-based API/UI tests in TypeScript, design test scenarios, and document results with strong attention to quality.

Collaboration with developers and the QA team in CI/CD environments is essential. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of QA experience, knows REST API testing with Postman/Insomnia, and can verify API contracts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of commercial QA experience.
• Ability to write automated tests in TypeScript with Playwright, or willingness to learn.
• Experience testing REST APIs using Postman or Insomnia.
• Ability to verify API contracts with variables in collections.
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD and collaborating with devs on automated tests.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and collaboration.
• Independence in testing and willingness to share knowledge with the team.
• Familiarity with AI tools like GitHub Copilot in daily work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct manual tests in a dynamic project environment.
• Create and maintain automated API and UI tests in Playwright with TypeScript.
• Prepare and execute test scenarios and test cases.
• Report, analyze, and classify bugs; support verification.
• Participate in test planning, estimations, and requirements reviews.
• Collaborate with QA and developers in CI/CD testing.
• Analyze application logs (e.g., Kibana) to diagnose issues.
• Prepare and manage test data for test cases.
• Collaborate on testing processes in a complex app ecosystem.
• Influence testing strategy, tool choice, and QA process improvements.
