Job summary

ARRISE is hiring a Quality Assurance Engineer to join its iGaming-focused team in Poland. The role involves hands-on manual testing of web applications, deep requirements analysis, and contributing to a robust QA process.

You will work with SQL, Git, Kibana, and Jenkins, while leveraging your understanding of the SDLC to ensure high quality software releases. The ideal candidate has 1+ year of backend QA experience, strong log analysis skills, and good English communication.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of QA experience (backend).
• Strong experience in manual testing of web applications.
• Advanced requirements analysis skills.
• Knowledge of SQL and data querying.
• Git, Kibana and Jenkins experience is a plus.
• Deep understanding of the software development life cycle.
• Excellent log-reading and root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to prioritize test cases based on risk analysis.
• Multitasking and strong communication skills.
• Intermediate English level.
• Gaming application testing experience is a plus.
• Experience with SOAP UI and Postman for integration testing.

Responsibilities

• Go through the software requirements and get clarifications on one's doubts.
• Become familiar with the software under test and any other related software.
• Understand the master test plan and/or the project plan.
• Create or assist in creating your test plan.
• Generate test cases based on the requirements and other documents.
• Procure or create test data required for testing.
• Test software releases by executing assigned tests (manual and/or automated).
• Report test results.
• Update test cases based on the discovered defects.
• Support the team with testing tasks as required.
• Keep up-to-date on the overview of the development technology, the popular testing tools (e.g., automated testing tools and test management systems), and the overview of the business domain.

Skills Required

• Working as a Quality Assurance Engineer for 1+ years (Back-end).
• Good experience in Manual Testing of Web applications.
• Advanced skills in requirements analysis.
• Knowledge and practical experience working with SQL.
• Knowledge and practical experience working with GIT, Kibana, and Jenkins will be a plus.
• Deep understanding and experience in the software development life cycle.
• Excellent skills in reading and analyzing logs to identify the root cause of a defect.
• Ability to prioritize test cases based on risk analysis.
• Multitasking skills.
• Intermediate English level.
• Strong communication skills.
• Gaming application expertise will be a plus.
• Integration testing using SOAP UI and Postman will be a plus.
