Veeam Software in Warsaw is seeking a hands-on Quality Assurance professional to join our R&D team. You will test multiple Veeam products, analyze requirements, and work closely with developers to ensure quality and reliability in real-world scenarios.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing, exploratory approaches, and collaboration with international teams to keep our software robust as we scale AI and data resilience solutions.

Qualifications

• Technical education background or strong passion for technology.
• 1–2 years of experience in system administration, software testing, or software development.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows or Linux operating systems.
• Good understanding of networking technologies and systems (DNS, DHCP, basic network configuration, etc.)
• English proficiency for daily communication within international teams.

About The Role

Join the Veeam Quality Assurance team and work on Veeam products with experienced QA professionals in the Warsaw R&D office. QA has the power to breathe life into our products. Testers are always at the center of the action: developing an idea, thinking through functionality, and conducting a thousand complex experiments — and this is not the limit. Our QA work is deeply hands‑on, focused on functional checks, exploratory approaches, and verifying real usage scenarios to ensure that “Veeam just works.”

What You’ll Bring

• Technical education background or a strong passion for technology
• 1–2 years of experience in system administration, software testing, or software development
• Strong motivation to grow professionally in the software testing field
• Advanced knowledge of Windows or Linux operating systems
• Good understanding of networking technologies and systems (DNS, DHCP, basic network configuration, etc.)
• Curiosity and attention to detail, with a natural ability to identify flaws — key qualities for hands‑on testing
• Open-mindedness, strong common sense, and clear logical thinking
• Fast learner with enthusiasm for interesting and challenging tasks (passion is valued as much as experience)
• English proficiency sufficient for daily communication within international teams
