Job summary

Netguru is looking for a freelance test automation engineer to join our remote team. You will write and maintain automated tests in JavaScript, using WebdriverIO, Mocha and Chai, and integrate tests into CI/CD workflows across QA, UAT and Production.

This 100% remote, full-time engagement starts in November 2026 for at least six months. You should be able to work independently, own the automation suite, and contribute to DevOps and testing processes alongside an experienced product team.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and ability to write and maintain test code from scratch.
• Hands-on experience with WebdriverIO for test automation.
• Solid experience with Mocha and Chai.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably Drone CI, including executing automated tests across QA, UAT, and Production.
• Experience with TestRail or similar test management tools.

Salary range: up to 155 pln/h (negotiable)

Project duration: minimum 6 months

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and the ability to write and maintain test code from scratch.
• Hands‑on experience with WebdriverIO for test automation.
• Solid experience with Mocha and Chai.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably Drone CI, including executing automated tests across QA, UAT, and Production environments.
• Experience with TestRail or similar test management tools for tracking test cases and results.
• Strong developer mindset — comfortable making incremental changes to test code, improving existing automation, and working without relying on manual testing.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the automation test suite.

Nice to have

• Experience testing Salesforce applications and related architectural changes.
• Experience testing standalone React‑based applications.
