Job summary

Paralucent is seeking a QA Analyst / Software Tester (Tier 2) to serve as the quality gate for fixes, ensuring production stability across vendor-supported SaaS and custom .NET / Microsoft SharePoint applications. You will validate fixes, reproduce issues, and drive readiness for releases with both manual and automated testing.

You will lead validation efforts, maintain regression packs, and collaborate with development and support teams to prevent incidents and ensure smooth deployments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in QA/testing in enterprise environments (production/operational support experience preferred).
• Strong expertise in manual and automation testing for defect validation and release cycles, including targeted retesting and regression.
• Experience working with .NET and/or Microsoft SharePoint applications.
• Familiarity with vendor-supported SaaS applications, including validation of vendor fixes and coordination with support teams.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA, TestRail).
• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve productivity in test design, defect analysis, and validation activities is an asset.
• Strong documentation skills with the ability to provide clear, stakeholder-ready reporting (test evidence, risks, release readiness).
• Experience in writing, updating, debugging and executing automation scripts
• Experience in automation tools like Playwright-Typescript, Selenium- Java, Eclipse, VS Code, etc.
• Experience in managing a team of QAs, assigning and tracking their work and output (Optional - will be good to have)

QA Analyst / Software Tester (Tier 2 Support - Release & Defect Validation) (PL827) Overview

We are seeking a QA Analyst / Software Tester for a consulting client.
