Job summary

Dabster in Poland is seeking a skilled Python Developer to design and build scalable backend systems. You will create robust RESTful APIs and support microservices-based architectures in cloud-native environments.

You will containerize applications with Docker, deploy on Kubernetes/OpenShift, and collaborate with DevOps to implement CI/CD, security, and data persistence.

Qualifications

• Strong Python backend development experience.
• Proven ability to build RESTful services and APIs.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and patterns.
• Experience with containerization and cloud-native design (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift).
• Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka or Pub/Sub.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable RESTful APIs and backend services using Python.

• Strong proficiency in Python for backend development

Cloud‑Native & Containerization

• Understanding of cloud‑native application design principles
• Experience with messaging systems such as Apache Kafka and Pub/Sub frameworks
• Knowledge of asynchronous processing and event‑driven system design

Security & Identity

• Experience implementing OAuth 2.0 and Single Sign‑On (SSO)
• Strong understanding of secure API design and authentication workflows

Database & Persistence

• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra)
• Ability to design efficient data models and optimize queries

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with distributed systems and high‑throughput applications
