Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a skilled Python Developer to join our team in Kraków. You will deliver robust application and cloud infrastructure features, with a strong emphasis on security remediation and maintainable code.

You will collaborate across product, platform, and security teams, implement CI/CD pipelines, and work with AWS services, databases, and modern observability tools to ensure scalable, secure solutions for our clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience including architecture and system integration.
• Hands-on expertise in AWS services (Lambda, ECS, S3).
• Proficiency in Java, Python, and TypeScript (or equivalent).
• Experience with CI/CD and GitHub Actions/workflows.
• Strong SQL writing and relational DB fundamentals.
• Experience with observability tools (Splunk, Honeycomb).
• Knowledge of enterprise tooling, multi-region cloud resiliency, and feature toggling.

Responsibilities

• Deliver application and cloud infrastructure features with testing and deployment.
• Implement security remediation and new features as prioritized.
• Translate requirements into maintainable, testable code and conduct reviews/tests.
• Promote changes through dev/test/prod with established processes.
• Collaborate with product, platform, and security partners to meet business needs.
