AgileEngine is seeking a Python Application Security Engineer to automate security controls and embed secure coding practices within software development and cloud workflows. The role focuses on Python-driven automation, cloud security posture management, and integration with enterprise CI/CD pipelines to improve secure-by-design outcomes.

• 3+ years of experience blending software engineering, security implementation and/or architecture.
• Strong Python coding for security automation and scripting.
• Hands-on familiarity with cloud security posture management tools like Wiz/Prisma Cloud.
• Experience with IaC such as Terraform and CSPM runtime checks.
• Autonomous execution without daily supervision for automated security runbooks.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Engineer and deploy AI-enabled secure code scanning capabilities and Golden Images.
• Automate secure coding patterns and integrate with SDLC/workflows.
• Integrate SAST/DAST/SCA into enterprise CI/CD pipelines and tune to reduce noise.
• Implement runtime security checks via CSPM to maintain cloud visibility and threat posture.
• Review enterprise code (Java/Python) and provide code-level remediation guidance.
