Job summary

Lyten Poland is seeking a proactive Purchasing Specialist to join our growing Supply Chain team. You will secure components for their BESS projects, manage purchase orders, and ensure timely delivery while optimizing inventory across a fast-paced high-tech environment.

You will work closely with Engineering, Production, Planning, and international suppliers, maintaining data in the ERP system and driving continuous procurement improvements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience in manufacturing, energy storage, electrical, electronics, or industrial equipment sectors.
  • Strong understanding of MRP planning processes and material flow management.
  • Experience working in a structured procurement and supply chain environment.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production setting.
  • Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Good command of English for international supplier communication.
  • Nice to have NetSuite ERP experience.
  • Knowledge of BESS components, power electronics, or electrical systems.
  • Experience coordinating with international suppliers across Europe, China, and the United States.
  • Understanding of Incoterms, international logistics, and customs processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage purchasing activities for BESS components, including electrical, mechanical, electronic parts, enclosures, and cable assemblies.
  • Create, monitor, and manage purchase orders in line with material and production requirements.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of materials while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with Planning, Production, and Engineering teams to understand demand forecasts, technical requirements, and lead-time constraints.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing and material master data within the ERP system.
  • Resolve delivery delays, discrepancies, and supplier quality issues in a timely manner.
  • Communicate proactively with internal stakeholders regarding supply risks, material shortages, and delivery challenges.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to procurement processes, inventory management, and MRP accuracy.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability of components and materials required to support production and project execution. You will work closely with Engineering, Production, Planning, and international suppliers, playing a key role in maintaining a reliable and efficient supply chain within a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment.

Your Responsibilities
  • Manage purchasing activities for BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) components, including electrical, mechanical, electronic parts, enclosures, and cable assemblies.

What We’re Looking For
