Job summary

Dürr Aktiengesellschaft in Poznań seeks an experienced purchasing professional to secure components and services worldwide. You will handle SAP transactions, maintain master data, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely deliveries.

Fluency in English and German is required, as well as practical knowledge of supplier evaluation and quality management tools. The role combines operational purchasing with strategic, data-driven scheduling and MRP data maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing and/or material planning.
• Fluent in English and German.
• Experienced user of SAP ordering process and/or material planning.
• Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Procure components and services internationally by placing orders.
• Provide production-relevant documents to suppliers for ordering.
• Obtain order confirmations and compare with the order.
• Check and approve invoice discrepancies.
• Execute SAP transactions and maintain master data.
• Support supplier evaluation and development.
• Coordinate measures with internal/external interfaces for delays or bottlenecks.
• Communicate with suppliers in German and English.
• Support other purchasing teams during capacity bottlenecks.
• Plan and monitor scheduling parameters using ABC/XYZ analyses.
• Maintain MRP data in the material master.
• Process SAP exception messages (date adjustments / cancellations).
• Inbound and outbound control of new or discontinued goods.

Your Tasks

Operational purchasing (focus of the function: approx. 75%)

• Procurement of components and services according to the purchase requirements internationally by placing orders
• Provision of production-relevant documents to suppliers for ordering
• Obtaining order confirmations and comparing them with the order
• Checking and approving invoice discrepancies
• Execution of the necessary transactions in the SAP system
• Maintenance of purchasing data: order books, supplier data, master data, etc
• Support for supplier evaluation and development
• Support of supplier inventories for additional material
• Handling of quality claims
• Ensure that demand is met on time, e.g. by processing and checking the corresponding transactions in the SAP system, monitoring delivery dates and dunning
• Initiation and coordination of suitable measures with internal and external interfaces in the event of delivery delays or bottlenecks
• Communication with suppliers in German and English
• Support of other purchasing teams in the event of capacity bottlenecks

Disposition (share of function: 25%)

• Implementation of strategic specifications by setting scheduling parameters with the help of evaluation tools, e.g. ABC-analysis, XYZ-analysis
• Resolving trade-offs between low inventories, economical delivery lot sizes and reducing procurement risks.
• Conversion and maintenance of MRP data in the material master
• Processing of exception messages in SAP (date adjustments / cancellations)
• Inbound and outbound control of new or discontinued goods

Your Skills

• vocational training and several years of professional experience in purchasing and / or material planning
• English and German fluent
