PwC Poland is expanding its Finance Managed Services team and seeks a PtP Accountant with Hungarian in a project environment. The role focuses on processing and coding vendor invoices, reviewing for accuracy, and supporting supplier communications within a hybrid work model.

Ideal candidates will have 1–3 years in Payables, experience with ERP systems, and strong English and Romanian language skills. PwC offers flexible benefits, career development, and a collaborative international environment.

Formación

• Fluent English and Romanian for day-to-day communication.
• 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Procure to Pay, T&E or similar finance operations.
• Experience with invoice processing, supplier communication and payment activities.
• Basic understanding of month-end closing and ERP systems.

Responsabilidades

• Processing and coding vendor invoices according to company policies.
• Reviewing invoices for accuracy and approvals.
• Maintaining vendor accounts and supporting payment processing.
• Handling AP and T&E mailbox activities and reimbursements.
• Ensuring policy compliance and internal controls.
• Reconciling supplier accounts and resolving discrepancies.
• Assisting with month-end closing and reporting.
• Collaborating with procurement, finance, and internal stakeholders.

Finance Managed Services (FMS) in PwC Poland is rapidly expanding as part of the Managed Services Operations. You can play an important role in supporting and transforming the operations of our domestic and international Clients. Join us in shaping and transforming operations for our domestic and international clients, as we delve into diverse, complex projects and collaborate closely with expert consulting teams to provide comprehensive finance services, including accounting and reporting, tax as well as financial planning & analysis, across various sectors in the region.

We are looking for:

PtP Accountant with Hungarian - project environment

Your future role:

• Processing and coding vendor invoices in accordance with company policies and procedures,
• Reviewing invoices for accuracy, completeness and appropriate approvals,
• Performing Accounts Payable activities and maintaining vendor accounts,
• Supporting payment processing and monitoring payment status,
• Handling AP and T&E mailbox activities,
• Processing employee travel expenses and reimbursements,
• Ensuring compliance of expenses with company policies and internal controls,
• Performing supplier account reconciliations and supporting resolution of discrepancies,
• Investigating and resolving invoice, payment and supplier disputes,
• Supporting month-end closing (MEC) activities and preparing process-related reports,
• Maintaining master data and financial records in ERP systems,
• Cooperating with suppliers, Procurement, Finance and Accounting teams as well as internal stakeholders,
• Providing high-quality supplier communication and support,
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements within the PtP area.

Apply if you have:

• Excellent command of both English and Romanian, enabling effective day-to-day communication with internal and external stakeholders,
• 1-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Procure to Pay, T&E or a similar finance operations environment,
• Experience in invoice processing, supplier communication and payment-related activities,
• Good understanding of invoice lifecycle and PtP processes,
• Basic understanding of month-end closing activities,
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset,
• Good knowledge of Excel, including filtering, lookup functions and working with larger data sets,
• Customer-oriented approach and strong communication skills,
• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and work in a deadline-driven environment,
• Experience working with ERP systems,
• Ability to identify process inefficiencies and proactively propose improvements,
• Knowledge of new technologies and AI-based tools in your daily work (e.g. task automation, information analysis, content creation).

Nice to have:

• SAP knowledge,
• Experience in SSC/BPO environments,
• Knowledge of T&E processes and employee expense management.
