Job summary

PwC Polska is seeking a PtP Accountant with Hungarian in a project environment to support accounts payable, supplier communications, and reimbursements. The role involves processing invoices, ensuring accuracy, and assisting with month-end close in a hybrid, dynamic PwC setting.

Requirements include 1–3 years in AP/PtP, English and Romanian fluency, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems. Nice to have SAP knowledge and SSC/BPO background.

Qualifications

• Excellent command of English and Romanian for day-to-day communication with stakeholders.
• 1–3 years in Accounts Payable or Procure to Pay or similar finance ops.
• Experience in invoice processing, supplier communication, and payments.
• Solid understanding of PtP processes and month-end tasks.
• Ability to work with ERP systems and large data sets.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and AI-based tools.

Responsibilities

• Processing and coding vendor invoices according to policies.
• Reviewing invoices for accuracy and approvals.
• Maintaining vendor accounts and supporting payments.
• Handling AP and T&E mailbox activities and reimbursements.
• Ensuring policy compliance and internal controls.
• Performing supplier reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
• Supporting month-end closing and reporting.
• Collaborating with Procurement, Finance, and other teams.
• Identifying process improvements within PtP.
