Job summary

GlobalLogic Inc. is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to work embedded with enterprise medical device clients across the EMEA region, building auditable multi-agent AI platforms and agentic solutions such as AI Studio initiatives and domain orchestrators.

You will bridge business cases to production-ready software using AI accelerators to deliver scalable systems. You will collaborate with software engineers, cloud architects, and QA to transform complex requirements into prototypes, while

Qualifications

• 5+ years in senior or lead engineer roles.
• 2+ years hands-on experience building LLM/GenAI systems for real-world usage.
• Deep hands-on experience with Claude Code, Claude Agent SDK, and MCP for interactive workflows.
• Production-level Python proficiency (FastAPI, Pydantic, AsyncIO, pytest).
• Strong communication and visualization skills for storytelling with data.
• Hands-on experience deploying GenAI/LLM workloads on AWS or Azure.
• Experience with multi-agent systems and building evaluation harnesses.
• English proficiency at Advanced level.
• Good presentation and demonstration skills

Responsibilities

• Split effort between hands-on engineering (70%) and stakeholder discovery/demos (30%).
• Lead design and development of solutions across HealthTech and MedTech projects.
• Be comfortable with ambiguity, onsite/embedded work, travel and customer environments.
• Participate in technical presales by analyzing business cases and AI/ML opportunities.
• Lead discovery and advisory projects, deliver working prototypes within short iterations.
• Collaborate with software engineers, cloud architects, and QA to scale prototypes to production systems.
• Extend GlobalLogic’s AI accelerators and publish reusable, versioned skills/plugins to client marketplaces.
• Present technical solutions to clients, both business and technical audiences.
• Ensure adherence to data privacy, security, and medical software compliance standards.

Join GlobalLogic’s Healthcare & AI team on high-impact MedTech engagements across the EMEA region. In this strategic role, you will work embedded with enterprise medical device clients, helping them build next-generation AI platforms and Agentic AI solutions (such as AI Studio initiatives and domain orchestrators). You will act as a Forward Deployed Engineer, bridging the gap between high-level business cases and production-ready software by leveraging GlobalLogic’s AI accelerators (GL Workbench, CAKE layer) to deliver auditable multi-agent systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Senior Engineer or Lead Engineer roles, including 2+ years of hands‑on experience building LLM/GenAI systems for real‑world usage.
• Deep hands‑on experience with Claude Code, Claude Agent SDK, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) for interactive and headless/CI workflows (or strong experience with equivalent frameworks like LangGraph/AutoGen).
• Production‑level Python proficiency (FastAPI, Pydantic, AsyncIO, pytest, typing).
• Strong communication and visualization skills for storytelling with data.
• Hands‑on experience deploying GenAI/LLM workloads on AWS (Bedrock, Step Functions, Lambda, OpenSearch) or Azure (Azure AI Foundry).
• Proven experience with multi‑agent systems (orchestrators, sub‑agents, human‑in‑the‑loop approval gates) and building evaluation harnesses (golden datasets, prompt regression testing, LLM‑as‑a‑judge).
• English proficiency at Advanced level.
• Good presentation and demonstration skills

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Experience working with medical data (EHR, imaging, wearables, clinical trials, etc.).
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations related to data and AI (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, FDA AI/ML guidelines).
• Familiarity with ALM and engineering toolchains (Polarion REST API / LiveDocs, Jira, Confluence, CATIA Magic / OSLC).
• Involvement in presales, proposal writing, or technical advisory work.
• Experience working with data ingestion and data processing frameworks
• Knowledge of LLMOps / MLOps concepts (skill registries, LiteLLM gateways, token cost tracking, observability tools).

Job responsibilities

• Split effort between hands‑on engineering (70%) and stakeholder discovery/demos (30%).

• Lead discovery and advisory projects, turn vague process knowledge into definitions of done, and deliver working SW prototypes (e.g., multi‑agent orchestrators, feature review tools) within short iterations.
• Collaborate with software engineers, cloud architects, and QA to further develop prototypes into scalable production systems.
• Extend GlobalLogic’s MedTech AI accelerators (e.g., GL Workbench, CAKE knowledge ingestion layer) and publish reusable, versioned skills/plugins to internal client marketplaces.
• Present technical solutions to clients, both business and technical audiences.
• Ensure adherence to data privacy, security, and medical software compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 14971, IEC 62304) and establish auditable, append‑only logs for AI decisions.
• Author clear documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
