Job summary

GlobalLogic's Healthcare & AI team seeks a Senior/Lead Engineer embedded with medical device clients across EMEA to build GenAI platforms and multi-agent systems. You will bridge business cases to production software, leveraging AI accelerators like GL Workbench and CAKE, while ensuring compliance and auditable AI decisions.

You will split time between hands-on engineering and stakeholder demos, travel to customer environments, and guide prototypes to scalable production systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
• 5+ years in Senior or Lead Engineer roles with 2+ years building LLM/GenAI systems.
• Deep hands-on experience with Claude Code, Claude Agent SDK, and MCP (or LangGraph/AutoGen).
• Production-level Python proficiency (FastAPI, Pydantic, AsyncIO, pytest, typing).
• Strong storytelling with data and visualization skills.
• Experience deploying GenAI/LLM workloads on AWS Bedrock/Step Functions/Lambda/OpenSearch or Azure equivalents using Terraform.
• Experience with multi-agent systems (orchestrators, sub-agents, human-in-the-loop) and evaluation harnesses.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Good presentation and demonstration skills.

Responsibilities

• Split effort between hands-on engineering (70%) and stakeholder discovery/demos (30%).
• Lead design and development of solutions across HealthTech and MedTech projects.
• Be comfortable with ambiguity, onsite/embedded work, travel and deadlines.
• Participate in technical presales by analyzing business cases and AI/ML opportunities.
• Lead discovery and advisory projects, define done, deliver prototypes quickly.
• Collaborate with engineers, cloud architects, and QA to scale prototypes.
• Extend AI accelerators and publish reusable skills/plugins to client marketplaces.
• Present technical solutions to clients for business and technical audiences.
• Ensure data privacy, security, and medical software compliance and auditable logs.
• Author clear documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing.

Join GlobalLogic’s Healthcare & AI team on high-impact MedTech engagements across the EMEA region. In this strategic role, you will work embedded with enterprise medical device clients, helping them build next-generation AI platforms and Agentic AI solutions (such as AI Studio initiatives and domain orchestrators). You will act as a Forward Deployed Engineer, bridging the gap between high-level business cases and production-ready software by leveraging GlobalLogic’s AI accelerators (GL Workbench, CAKE layer) to deliver auditable multi-agent systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Senior Engineer or Lead Engineer roles, including 2+ years of hands‑on experience building LLM/GenAI systems for real‑world usage.
• Deep hands‑on experience with Claude Code, Claude Agent SDK, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) for interactive and headless/CI workflows (or strong experience with equivalent frameworks like LangGraph/AutoGen).
• Production‑level Python proficiency (FastAPI, Pydantic, AsyncIO, pytest, typing).
• Strong communication and visualization skills for storytelling with data.
• Hands‑on experience deploying GenAI/LLM workloads on AWS (Bedrock, Step Functions, Lambda, OpenSearch) or Azure (Azure AI Foundry,
• Container Apps, Azure AI Search) using Terraform.
• Proven experience with multi‑agent systems (orchestrators, sub‑agents, human‑in‑the‑loop approval gates) and building evaluation harnesses (golden datasets, prompt regression testing, LLM‑as‑a‑judge).
• English proficiency at Advanced level.
• Good presentation and demonstration skills

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Experience working with medical data (EHR, imaging, wearables, clinical trials, etc.).
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations related to data and AI (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, FDA AI/ML guidelines).
• Familiarity with ALM and engineering toolchains (Polarion REST API / LiveDocs, Jira, Confluence, CATIA Magic / OSLC).
• Involvement in presales, proposal writing, or technical advisory work.
• Experience working with data ingestion and data processing frameworks
• Knowledge of LLMOps / MLOps concepts (skill registries, LiteLLM gateways, token cost tracking, observability tools).

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software engineers, cloud architects, and QA to further develop prototypes into scalable production systems.
• Extend GlobalLogic’s MedTech AI accelerators (e.g., GL Workbench, CAKE knowledge ingestion layer) and publish reusable, versioned skills/plugins to internal client marketplaces.
• Present technical solutions to clients, both business and technical audiences.
• Ensure adherence to data privacy, security, and medical software compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 14971, IEC 62304) and establish auditable, append‑only logs for AI decisions.
• Author clear documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
