GlobalLogic’s Healthcare & AI team seeks a senior/lead engineer to embed with enterprise medical device clients, building AI platforms and multi-agent solutions. You will bridge business cases and production-grade software using GL accelerators and Terraform-driven deployments.

You will collaborate with engineers, cloud architects and QA to mature prototypes into scalable systems, drive presales activities, and ensure compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and medical device standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
• 5+ years in Senior/Lead Engineer roles with 2+ years building LLM/GenAI systems.
• Strong hands-on with Claude Code, Claude Agent SDK, MCP (or LangGraph/AutoGen).
• Production-level Python proficiency (FastAPI, Pydantic, AsyncIO, pytest, typing).
• Experience deploying GenAI/LLM workloads on AWS or Azure with Terraform.
• Experience with multi-agent systems and evaluation harnesses.
• English Advanced proficiency.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to visualize data.

Responsabilités

• Split effort between hands-on engineering (≈70%) and stakeholder demos (≈30%).
• Lead design and development of HealthTech/MedTech solutions.
• Travel onsite to customer environments and work under tight deadlines.
• Participate in technical presales by analyzing business cases for AI/ML opportunities.
• Lead discovery projects and deliver functioning prototypes within short iterations.
• Collaborate with engineers, cloud architects, and QA to scale prototypes into production systems.
• Extend AI accelerators (GL Workbench, CAKE) and publish reusable skills/plugins.
• Present technical solutions to business and technical audiences.
• Ensure data privacy, security and medical software compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 14971, IEC 62304).
• Document and share knowledge within the team.

Job Description

Join GlobalLogic’s Healthcare & AI team on high-impact MedTech engagements across the EMEA region. In this strategic role, you will work embedded with enterprise medical device clients, helping them build next-generation AI platforms and Agentic AI solutions (such as AI Studio initiatives and domain orchestrators). You will act as a Forward Deployed Engineer, bridging the gap between high-level business cases and production-ready software by leveraging GlobalLogic’s AI accelerators (GL Workbench, CAKE layer) to deliver auditable multi-agent systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Senior Engineer or Lead Engineer roles, including 2+ years of hands‑on experience building LLM/GenAI systems for real‑world usage.
• Deep hands‑on experience with Claude Code, Claude Agent SDK, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) for interactive and headless/CI workflows (or strong experience with equivalent frameworks like LangGraph/AutoGen).
• Production‑level Python proficiency (FastAPI, Pydantic, AsyncIO, pytest, typing).
• Strong communication and visualization skills for storytelling with data.
• Hands‑on experience deploying GenAI/LLM workloads on AWS (Bedrock, Step Functions, Lambda, OpenSearch) or Azure (Azure AI Foundry, Container Apps, Azure AI Search) using Terraform.
• Proven experience with multi‑agent systems (orchestrators, sub‑agents, human‑in‑the‑loop approval gates) and building evaluation harnesses (golden datasets, prompt regression testing, LLM‑as‑a‑judge).
• English proficiency at Advanced level.
• Good presentation and demonstration skills

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Experience working with medical data (EHR, imaging, wearables, clinical trials, etc.).
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations related to data and AI (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, FDA AI/ML guidelines).
• Familiarity with ALM and engineering toolchains (Polarion REST API / LiveDocs, Jira, Confluence, CATIA Magic / OSLC).
• Involvement in presales, proposal writing, or technical advisory work.
• Experience working with data ingestion and data processing frameworks
• Knowledge of LLMOps / MLOps concepts (skill registries, LiteLLM gateways, token cost tracking, observability tools).

Job Responsibilities

• Split effort between hands‑on engineering (70%) and stakeholder discovery/demos (30%).
• Lead the design and development of solutions across HealthTech and MedTech projects.
• Be comfortable with ambiguity, onsite/embedded work, have willingness to travel and work directly at the customer’s environment, building solutions under a hard deadline with incomplete requirements.
• Participate in technical presales by analyzing business cases and identifying opportunities for AI/ML application.
• Lead discovery and advisory projects, turn vague process knowledge into definitions of done, and deliver working SW prototypes (e.g., multi‑agent orchestrators, feature review tools) within short iterations.
• Collaborate with software engineers, cloud architects, and QA to further develop prototypes into scalable production systems.
• Extend GlobalLogic’s MedTech AI accelerators (e.g., GL Workbench, CAKE knowledge ingestion layer) and publish reusable, versioned skills/plugins to internal client marketplaces.
• Present technical solutions to clients, both business and technical audiences.
• Ensure adherence to data privacy, security, and medical software compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 14971, IEC 62304) and establish auditable, append‑only logs for AI decisions.
• Author clear documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
