Job summary

Trina Solar is seeking a Project Manager to join our EU Utility Storage Project Management Team in Poland, Romania and/or Lithuania. You will oversee project and commissioning works of energy storage projects across Europe, coordinating with internal teams, suppliers and contractors.

The role requires an engineering background, strong communication, travel readiness, and fluency in English and Polish. You will develop testing protocols, manage contracts and drive projects to handover to O&M,

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or qualifications required.
• Experience in managing project and commissioning work for solar PV or Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and site supervision.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders across Europe.
• Willingness to travel across Europe.

Responsibilities

• Manage project and commissioning works of energy storage projects across Europe with internal teams, suppliers and contractors.
• Develop and execute commissioning plans.
• Negotiate contracts with customers regarding the project delivery.
• Lead project handover to O&M after delivery.
• Ensure compliance with H&S policies and regulations.
• Produce project progress reports and risk matrices.
• Travel as required to support projects in Europe.

We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join our EU Utility Storage Project Management Team in Poland, Romania and/ or Lithuania.

Responsibilities:

• Manage project and commissioning works of Trina’s energy storage projects in the Europe cooperating with internal teams, suppliers and contractors
• Support Trina’s project execution efforts by developing and executing commissioning plans
• Manage and negotiate contracts with customers in terms of project delivery clause
• Lead project effort to achieve commercial operations, and handover from delivery/construction team to the O&M team for each project
• Comply with company policies, ensuring supplier and contractors follow up H&S regulations
• Develop and execute testing protocols based on market rules, DNO requirements and contractual obligations
• Produce project progress reports and project‘s risk matrix

Requirements:

• Suitable engineering degree or qualifications
• Related experience in managing project and commissioning work of electrical equipment in the context of Solar PV and/or Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects or other renewable energy projects.
• Must have experience on adhering to safety regulations (CDM) in an operational setting
• Strong experience supervising site activities amongst different contractors
• Familiar with related electrical standards, Regulations and Legislation
• Ability to adapt to dynamic conditions and stay focused/execute on goals under tight deadlines
• Highly developed interpersonal skills with ability to interface with multiple parties (contractors, suppliers, client representatives) CSCS card holder or eq.
• Excellent MS Office capabilities, SCADA and MODBUS experience will be a plus
• Must be willing and able to travel in support of existing & new Energy Storage fleet
• Passion for your work, strong communication skills, a flexible and positive attitude, structured and dedicated way of working
• Languages: Fluent English and Polish any other addition language will be a plus
