Job summary

45 Woodward Poland Sp.zo.o is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead end-to-end localization and part transfer initiatives across Europe, with a focus on Poland and other strategic sites. You will drive supplier transitions, cross-functional coordination, and compliance activities from planning through ramp-up.

The role requires strong leadership, risk management, and fluent Polish & English, with exposure to aerospace project governance and KPI reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end localization and part transfer projects across Europe.
  • Manage supplier transfers, dual-source implementation, and regionalization to optimize cost, capacity, risk and lead times.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, milestones and risk registers.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Quality and Procurement.
  • Drive supplier transition activities from sourcing to production readiness and first article.
  • Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, PPAP/FAI in aerospace contexts.
  • Maintain governance with reviews, KPI dashboards and stakeholder updates.
  • Facilitate supplier development to achieve capacity, quality and delivery targets.
  • Plan inventory transitions, safety stock and cutover execution for uninterrupted production.
  • Identify process improvements and localization opportunities aligned with European aerospace growth.

Job description

What You Will Do:

Lead end-to-end localization and part transfer projects supporting Aerospace operations across Europe, with primary focus on Sofia, Ellington, Peterborough, and other strategic growth initiatives. Manage part transition projects involving supplier transfers, dual-source implementation, and supply chain regionalization to improve cost, capacity, risk, and lead time performance. Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, critical paths, and risk registers to ensure on-time project execution. Coordinate cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Procurement, NPI, Finance, and Program Management throughout project lifecycles. Drive supplier transition activities including sourcing strategy, supplier selection, qualification planning, production readiness, tooling transfer, and first article execution. Coordinate customer and regulatory requirements related to product transfers, qualification activities, PPAP/FAI approvals, and aerospace compliance standards. Maintain governance routines including project reviews, executive updates, KPI dashboards, and stakeholder communications. Facilitate supplier development and readiness activities to ensure new suppliers achieve capacity, quality, cost, and delivery objectives before production ramp-up. Drive inventory transition planning, safety stock strategy, and cutover execution to ensure uninterrupted production during supplier or facility transfers. Identify opportunities for process improvement, supply chain optimization, and localization strategies that support Woodward's long-term European Aerospace growth objectives.
