Job description

Our story

Space is one of the fastest-growing industries in the world. Thousands of satellites launch every year, and the market behind them is booming - with Poland right in the middle of it, home to a fast-rising space sector.

Liftero is at the heart of this trend. We build propulsion systems for the thousands of spacecraft coming to orbit, with the ambition to become the global leader in satellite propulsion - the transport layer of the space economy. Our goal is clear: deploy 1,000 propulsion systems in space.

Our core product is BOOSTER, a non-toxic chemical propulsion system built from first principles for the NewSpace era. It has already been validated in space.

As a fast-scaling company, we combine agility with long-term ambition to serve the booming small-satellite market. Joining now means a front-row seat to space technology and real ownership over what we build.

Position Overview

We run commercial contracts and institutionally funded projects in parallel, with strong technical teams who own the engineering.

What we need is someone to own everything around that work - schedule, budget, milestones, and reporting, so our engineers stay focused on building hardware.

We're looking for a Project Manager to take end-to-end ownership of project delivery across our portfolio. You'll keep projects on time and on budget, act as the point of contact for customers and funding bodies, and make sure the right resources are in the right place at the right time.

Your Daily Impact

  • Owning end-to-end execution of projects - Planning, scheduling, budgeting, and actively managing risks to deliver projects on time and within scope.

  • Creating and maintaining organized project workspaces - Structuring easy-to-navigate digital spaces for internal collaboration and client sharing.

  • Managing client relationships and secure files - Serving as the main point of contact, handling sensitive permissions, tracking deliverables, and independently leading client meetings.

  • Authoring and reviewing client documentation - Preparing clear technical materials, including system architectures, scope documents, and key milestone reports.

  • Bridging technical updates - Communicating progress to stakeholders and translating technical inquiries between clients and the engineering team.

  • Overseeing supply chain and logistics - (Coordinating vendor and subcontractor timelines, long-lead components, and testing facility schedules.

  • Enforcing regulatory and export compliance - Ensuring all operations strictly adhere to international space industry standards and regulations.

Is This You?

  • 3+ years of experience in Project Management within high-tech, aerospace, or hardware-engineering industries.

  • Strong organizational skills with hands-on experience in timeline tracking and task management.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

  • Ability to handle sensitive project contract details with high discretion.

  • Proven track record of serving as a primary client point of contact, leading external meetings, and translating complex engineering concepts into clear commercial/client updates.

You Can Score Extra Points For

  • Space Standards Knowledge: Direct experience working with space quality and engineering standards such as ECSS (European Cooperation for Space Standardization).

  • Grant & Institutional Projects: Experience managing space projects funded by agencies (e.g., ESA) or defense institutions.

  • Familiarity with space industry regulatory frameworks and export control compliance (e.g., ITAR, EAR, or European dual-use regulations).

  • Certifications: Recognized Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM) or Agile frameworks.

Perks & Advantages

  • We Fly Things - Literally: A unique opportunity to manage and deliver flight-proven hardware projects that actually go into orbit, leaving a tangible mark on real space missions.

  • Stable Employment: Full-time employment contract + eligibility for the Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP).

  • Private Healthcare.

  • MultiSport Card: Access to sports and fitness facilities.

  • Training Budget: Funding for professional courses, training, and certifications.
