Job summary

Sollers Consulting Sp. z.o.o is seeking an experienced IT project leader for Insurance projects. You will manage end-to-end delivery, align stakeholders, and lead agile teams to successful outcomes.

You will work with cross-functional teams in a hybrid setup, engaging with clients and driving delivery excellence. Excellent English (C1) and deep insurance domain knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of IT project experience in Insurance, preferably P&C.
• Strong understanding of insurance carriers and core business processes.
• Experience as PM/Team Lead/Lead BA in IT projects.
• Excellent client communication, negotiation and stakeholder management.
• Ability to apply delivery methodologies and manage risk and scope.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT implementation or advisory projects for Insurance, combining consulting toolkit with project management.
• Oversee projects from initiation to formal closure, managing timelines, scope, budget, risks and dependencies.
• Supervise and support business analysis and solution design via client workshops and clear communication.
• Serve as team leader for small, agile cross-functional delivery teams and mentor juniors.
• Build relationships with client stakeholders as a trusted advisor and support B2B sales activities.
• Coordinate preparation and presentation of proposals for client decision makers.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, managing expectations and needs.

About the role

About the role. You will:

• Lead IT implementation or advisory projects for Insurance, bringing value through combining consulting toolkit with project management capabilities, and deep understanding of insurance business processes and business models.
• Oversee projects from their very beginning to the successful formal closure, while managing timelines, scope, budget, risks and dependencies.
• Supervise and support business analysis and solution design by facilitating client workshops and driving communication as needed by the project.
• Act as a team leader for small, agile, cross-functional delivery Teams, supporting the growth of junior team members.
• Build relations with key client stakeholders based on substantiative industry knowledge and being seen as a trustworthy advisor.
• Lead or support B2B business development efforts, including cross-selling and up-selling our services.
• Coordinate preparation and presentation of proposals for the clients' decision makers.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, even in challenging or high-pressure situations, managing their expectations and needs.

About the requirements

About the requirements. You need:

• At least 7 years of professional experience in IT projects for Insurance, preferably in P&C lines.
• Comprehensive understanding of how insurance carriers operate with deep understanding of core business processes.
• Experience in functional design and implementation of IT solutions in a role of PM, Team Lead and/or Lead BA
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, negotiate and defend company interests
• Proven ability to explain and apply a delivery methodology to the customer's project, planning and control teams to establish proper management and risk control
• Demonstrated ability to build a joint well-performing team, resolve personal and team issues with limited support, act as a role model to other more junior colleagues.
• Strong analytical thinking and synthesis skills to ensure the quality of your team’s deliverables
• Creativity, resourcefulness, and proactivity in solving complex problems, applying the economy-of-effort principles to ensure successful delivery.
• Ability to work in Poland and the European Union on a full-time basis.
• Great command of English language, at least C1 level.

• Experience in implementation-related or strategic consulting, particularly in insurance.
• Ability to build lasting and positive relationships with the client stakeholders and C-Level representatives.
• Good knowledge of German or French.
• While having the main office in Warsaw, you want to work with our clients abroad, traveling up to 50% of your work time.
