Job summary

ALPLA Group is seeking a technically oriented engineer to lead planning and execution of projects across the CEE region. You will define specifications, plan plant setups, and create CAD layouts for manufacturing facilities, including energy systems and equipment.

You will manage tenders and supplier selections, and ensure successful installations per our guidelines. The role requires hands-on engineering experience, strong teamwork across functions, and willingness to travel up to 50% of the

Qualifications

• First work experience in mechanical engineering or a similar industry.
• Strong understanding of the technical aspects of various types of equipment.
• Experience in installation management.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Hands-on mindset with pragmatic decision‑making.
• Works effectively across teams and communicates clearly.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for technical planning, contractor selection, and project execution within ALPLA plants across the CEE Region.
• Define technical specifications based on project requirements, internal and international standards.
• Plan technical solutions and plant setups, considering ALPLA Plant Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Maintenance.
• Create CAD layouts for new manufacturing plants, expansions, and adaptations, including buildings, energy, cooling water, compressed air system, machinery, and upstream/downstream equipment.
• Tendering and supplier selection for infrastructure and construction works.
• Execution of the installation and change according to ALPLA's project management guideline.
• Ensure infrastructure acceptance within the Region CEE.
• Collaborate with local, regional and global technical counterparts.
