Job description

Our client is an established specialist civil engineering subcontractor with a strong track record of delivering complex construction packages on major projects across Europe. Working directly with leading main contractors, they are trusted to deliver the critical civil works that large-scale developments depend on.

Their reputation has been built on technical capability, dependable programme performance and a hands-on approach to delivery. Core expertise spans earthworks, drainage, foundations, underground services, external works and major concrete packages, often on fast-track projects where quality and pace are equally important.

With demand for large-scale industrial and mission-critical facilities continuing to rise across Europe, the business is expanding its delivery capability in Finland. This growth is creating opportunities for experienced civil professionals to join at a key stage and help shape the success of a significant and growing workload.

You will join a capable, delivery-focused project team operating on large and technically demanding sites. The working culture is practical and collaborative, with an emphasis on taking ownership, solving problems on the ground and working closely with main contractor teams to keep programmes on track.

Projects involve substantial civil packages on major industrial and mission-critical developments, typically including bulk earthworks, below-ground drainage and services, foundations, heavy concrete works and external infrastructure. These are fast-moving environments with multiple interfaces, offering valuable exposure to complex, high-specification construction.

Working within a subcontractor model, you will gain a strong understanding of how packages are planned, resourced, delivered and commercially managed from start to finish. The role offers the opportunity to build long-term experience in a growing international market, with a business that values continuity and rewards strong performance.
