Job summary

Verita HR Group is recruiting for a hybrid role with a major European bank in Cracow to support the Finance Treasury Data Quality Remediation team. The candidate will focus on resolving data quality issues across Liquidity, IRRBB, Stress Testing, Collateral and Markets Treasury, with close cooperation across Finance, Change and IT teams.

The role requires 6+ years in project management within regulated financial environments, strong stakeholder management, and experience of Agile practices.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in complex systems environments is essential.
• Broad knowledge of regulated financial institutions is essential.
• Extensive project management skills in large, global change projects (min 6 years).
• Strong stakeholder management from Exco to analysts.
• Experience working remotely with onshore and offshore teams is essential.
• Experience applying Agile in project/product development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on IRR programme targets and ensure priority data issues are resolved on time.
• Follow the internal data management process and standards across the full lifecycle of each issue.
• Log data quality problems clearly reflecting what business users see in regulatory reports.
• Pass issues to upstream IT teams with all the details they need to fix them.
• Test solutions thoroughly and gather evidence for sign-off and Skilled Person review.
• Collect and upload closure evidence to Aurora.
• Plan releases and testing in line with IRR milestones with Finance and upstream IT.

The Finance Treasury Data Quality Remediation team is responsible for fixing key data quality issues across Liquidity, IRRBB, Stress Testing, Collateral and Markets Treasury - both the long-term ones and the quick wins.

What you’ll do

• Deliver on IRR programme targets and Skilled Person commitments by making sure priority data issues are resolved on time
• Follow the internal data management process and standards across the full lifecycle of each issue
• Log data quality problems clearly and accurately so they reflect what business users see in regulatory reports
• Pass issues to upstream IT teams with all the details they need to fully fix them
• Test solutions thoroughly - both to confirm the core problem is actually solved and to gather the evidence required for stakeholder sign-off and Skilled Person review
• Collect and upload closure evidence to Aurora
• Work closely with Finance, Change and upstream IT teams to plan releases and testing in line with IRR programme milestones

Skills:

• Extensive experience of working in complex systems environments is essential
• Excellent knowledge of regulated financial institutions and broad industry knowledge is essential
• Extensive project management skills and experience of managing large and complex global projects in a change environment is paramount. Minimum 6 years of experience in Project Manager role
• Strong stakeholder management experience from Exco level to analysts, specialising in impactful communication
• Previous experience of working remotely with onshore and offshore teams is essential
• Proven delivery of on time and on budget projects that achieve business case stated outcomes with strong attention to detail and a solution-oriented approach
• Experience in applying Agile methodology in project and product development
