Qualifications

• Experience working in international and cross-functional environments.
• Good understanding of project/program development processes.
• Fluent English (B2 minimum) is required; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Source and negotiate with suppliers for components, services, tooling, and equipment.
• Manage prototype development and tooling orders with suppliers.
• Ensure suppliers meet project objectives in terms of quality, cost, and timing.
• Support localization and sourcing strategies in alignment with global purchasing teams.
• Drive cost optimization and propose innovative solutions with suppliers.
• Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, quality, finance, and legal teams.

RSB Automotive Consulting is looking for a Project Buyer to join one of our international clients in the automotive sector.

Location:Poland (Lublin)
Start: As soon as possible
Contract:Long-term employment on a permanent contract (UoP)
Remote work:2/3 days per week

Your mission

As a Project Buyer, you will be responsible for supplier selection, contract negotiations, and securing on-time deliveries of components during development and ramp-up phases. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet quality, cost, timing, and risk objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Source and negotiate with suppliers for components, services, tooling, and equipment

• Manage prototype development and tooling orders with suppliers

• Ensure suppliers meet project objectives in terms of quality, cost, and timing
