Job summary

UN Women, through the Elsie Initiative Fund (EIF), seeks a Programme Analyst to support programme implementation, budget monitoring, and financial reporting. The role collaborates with UN Women country offices, regional and HQ finance teams, and fund recipients to ensure compliant and timely execution of EIF activities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in social sciences, human rights, gender/women’s studies, international development, project management, or related field.
• A first-level university degree in combination with at least two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced degree.
• A project/programme management certification (such as PMP®, PRINCE2®, or MSP®) is an asset.

Responsibilities

• At least one year of relevant work experience in development programme/project implementation, coordination and/or financial and operations management.
• Experience using Word and Excel, spreadsheets and web-based management systems.
• Experience in using a modern web-based ERP System, preferably Oracle Cloud.
• Experience in financial management and reporting within UN or multi-partner trust fund contexts is highly desirable.
• Experience coordinating and liaising with government and UN agencies is desirable.
