Job summary

GuidePoint Security LLC is seeking a Professional Service Operations Specialist to support regional service activities and engineering from a remote base. You will assist in presales scoping, proposals, and hours/template scoping, while managing systems and QA delivery.

• Effective written and verbal communication; willingness to learn AI-enabled tools

Responsibilities

• Use internal tools and processes to generate service quotes, help scope and track opportunities, and process and close opportunities.
• Promptly respond to internal and external inquiries for professional services.
• Understand and suggest ongoing process improvements for the presales service lifecycle.
• Interface with Technical leaders, practice delivery leads, and Sales Support Specialists daily.
• Manage multiple streams of work in an organized and timely manner.
• Serve as a liaison between Customers, Vendors, and GuidePoint outside Sales Executives and Service Leaders.
• Document and maintain processes and procedures for presales workflow steps.
• Develop and maintain relationships with GuidePoint key Vendors and Customers.
• Attend regional/national forecast calls and perform pipeline analysis to ensure forecast accuracy.
• Collaborate with Contracts and Proposal Departments and vendors to process opportunities.

General Description:

The Professional Services Operations Specialist (PSOS) is a valuable resource for Regional Service activities and Engineering. The PSOS supports Presales and delivery efforts by managing new opportunity intake and managing process steps for presales scoping; including, submission of proposals, aiding in hours and template scoping, managing systems, and assisting in Proposal QA and delivery. Key interactions include daily communications with service practice leads, account executives, and technical leaders across the region. Furthermore, the specialist will provide support for managing SalesForce.com service opportunities and corresponding with Customers and vendors in an effort to maintain and grow the region. The PSOS must keep their finger on the pulse of all service opportunities that they are responsible for in their region. PSOS’s manage key platforms such as Jira and SalesForce.com so accurate forecasting reports can be provided.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Use internal tools and processes to generate service quotes, help scope and track opportunities, and process and close opportunities.

Work with the team to analyze information and make decisions that benefit GuidePoint Security.

Required Experience:

At least 5 years of services-related logistics experience

Experience in services delivery or project management

Information Security or project management certifications a plus

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience

Strong organizational skills

Ability to multi-task effectively

Comfortable working in an independent, fast paced environment

Effective communication skills (written and verbal)

Demonstrates a willingness to learn and use AI-enabled tools

Travel Requirements:

Up to 15% travel

Physical Requirements:

Sedentary work

Substantial movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers for a minimum of 8 hours a day

Required to have close visual acuity to view computer terminal and/or extensive reading for a minimum of 8 hours a day
