Job summary

Magneti Marelli Parts & Services in Katowice is seeking a Production Maintenance Worker to join the Maintenance Department, reporting to the Maintenance Manager. The role is based at our Katowice office where you will maintain equipment and address breakdowns.

You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and proactive actions to prevent failures, while keeping the machine park in top condition and ensuring safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum vocational education.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position, preferably automotive.
  • Good knowledge of industrial automation.
  • Basic PLC programming and industrial robots knowledge.
  • Able to read electrical schematics.
  • Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • Teamwork oriented.
  • Willingness to work in a shift system.

Responsibilities

  • Elimination of current breakdowns.
  • Preventive actions in the department according to the preventive maintenance schedule; performing inspections.
  • Proactive actions to prevent recurrence of the same failures.
  • Maintenance of machine park.

About the Position:

We are looking for a Production Maintenance Worker to join the Maintenance Department team, reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager.

This position is based at our office in Katowice.

Your Responsibilities will be:
  • Elimination of current breakdowns
  • Preventive actions in the department according to the applicable preventive maintenance schedule in the assembly department; performing inspections
  • Proactive actions in the department aimed at preventing recurrence of the same failures
  • Maintenance of machine park
What Qualifications you will bring:
  • Minimum vocational education
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Good knowledge of industrial automation
  • Basic knowledge of PLC programming and industrial robots
  • Excellent ability to read electrical schematics
  • SAP G1E electrical qualifications
  • Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Willingness to work in a shift system
