Job summary

Marelli in Bielsko-Biała seeks a Supplier Quality Engineering Specialist to join the Ride Dynamics team, reporting to the Ride Dynamics Supplier Quality Manager. The role is based at Marelli’s Bielsko-Biała office.

You will drive supplier development, audit performance, and support cross-functional projects toward high-quality, on-time deliveries in a global setting.

Qualifications

  • University degree in a technical or economics-related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in supplier quality within an international company.
  • Analytical thinking skills, knowledge of technical drawings, and ability to read basic markings.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Category B driving licence and very good command of English.
  • Availability for frequent business trips.

Responsibilities

  • Develop suppliers to ensure high product quality, active cost reduction, and reliable delivery planning.
  • Cooperate on projects with R&D, Production, Quality, and Logistics departments.
  • Audit suppliers, certify/approve suppliers, including continuous improvement plans.
  • Actively participate in supplier selection.
  • Create, support, and enforce supplier corrective/improvement plans.
  • Introduce suppliers into the APQP phase and ensure continuous support until the launch of series deliveries.
  • Provide active technical support to the Purchasing department in the development of new projects.

About the Position:

We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineering Specialist to join the Marelli Ride Dynamics team, reporting directly to the Ride Dynamics Supplier Quality Manager.

This position is based at our office in Marelli Bielsko-Biała.

Your Responsibilities will be:
  • Developing suppliers to ensure high product quality, active cost reduction, and reliable delivery planning
  • Cooperating on projects with R&D, Production, Quality, and Logistics departments
  • Auditing suppliers, certifying/approving suppliers, including continuous improvement plans
  • Actively participating in supplier selection
